Sausage Making Seminar at the Herb Garden

Learn how to make your own home-made sausages!  Join me at the Herb Garden on October 12 for a sausage-making seminar.  The seminar is open to anyone who wants to learn to make their own home made sausages but with hunting season approaching, hunters will want to find out how easy it is to make their own deer sausages.  Cost is only $30.00 per person and you won’t go home empty handed!  Register today at The Herb Garden, 3840 Old Almonte Road (telephone (613) 256-0228) or at Don’s Meat Market in person or by email to mailto:don.stjohn@donsmeatmarket.ca

Bye Bye BBQ – Hello Turkey!

As our long, hot summer comes to a close, it’s time to start thinking about stocking our freezers for the winter ahead.   Burgers and dogs are soon replaced by roasts of beef and poultry.   If you book your freezer order by September 15, your name will be entered into a draw to win one of three Thanksgiving turkeys.  All freezer orders will receive a bonus 2, 5 or 10 pound pack of Don’s Own store made sausages.   Check out the website for changes to the Freezer Order section.

Minimum Delivery Charge Reduced for September!

For the month of September only, the delivery charge to Almonte, Kanata, Goulbourn and West Carleton customers will be lowered to a $50.00 minimum purchase!  Take advantage of this great deal and stock up your freezer today!

New Products and Specials!

Check out the website at www.donsmeatmarket.ca for the weekly specials – now three each week – and the fresh baked pies and tarts we now carry from Savoury Pursuits baked fresh and local right here in beautiful downtown Almonte!

A Special Thank You

Lana and I would like to thank our customers for their best wishes as we celebrated our wedding on August 6 at the Herb Garden.
